I Believe
I believe that every single one of my prayers are heard, and I believe that not getting an answer is the answer.
I believe that jewelry should only be allowed to be purchased by a man that is pure of heart. Something that beautiful should only be given in a beautiful loving moment.
I believe that I am a good person despite all my faults each and every day.
I believe that I do not deserve my beautiful wonderful handsome sexy husband. How I tricked him into loving me I will never know....but he is the best thing in my life. I believe without him I would not be who I am now.
I believe that I will be a very good mom someday.
I believe that Steven will be an amazing father that teaches life lessons without words but with the look in his eye. He will be the one to teach them things that they will remember forever and teach their children someday.
I believe that the group of friends Steven still has that he grew up with are all good fathers, husbands, and friends. I believe that they will always be there and so will Steven for them.
I believe that wasting a day in front of the TV with popcorn is not a waste if it refreshed and reduced stress. I believe if you sit in front of the TV every day wasting time it is no longer therapeutic.
I believe everything should be handled in moderation. Too much of a good thing is never good.
I believe that the summer of KremCaLaMiky was my summer. At that time of my life it saved me.
I believe knocking on wood will work.
I believe a four leaf clover is lucky.
I believe breaking a mirror or walking under a ladder is very bad luck. But I also believe that if you walk under it while working all bad luck is voided.
I believe smoking is the most revolting thing you could do. It stinks but if you want to kill yourself that is your business.
I believe Shredded Mini Wheat's are meant to be eaten soggy.
I believe that snow makes the ugliest things beautiful.
I believe a lot of things....What do you believe in?

Before and After
Much better eh? This is our front room. I think I might put a sofa bed in here and some cute lounge chairs. Maybe something like this????
Sister Wives
So Has anyone else seen this show? I'm totally glued to it. I am SO grateful that I am not them!!! I could never be in that type of family. I really do understand why they love it and that it is their way of following God. However, I feel that this type of lifestyle is wrong and should not happen in these modern days. There was a purpose for this 120 years ago but not anymore.
I am so grateful and so in love with my husband. I am so glad I am his #1 and ONLY one.

Being a Girl
Sometimes being a girl really sucks. I contemplate pregnancy just to be free of my monthly gift for a while...but then I think about the aftermath of that decision and decide 4 days of hell is better than the alternative.

Mascara Review
This stuff sucks. I feel like the rubber nubs do not assist with application at all. I think it hinders. The nubs are too little to help saturate my eyelashes at all. The mascara sticks in between the nubs and then when you try to put it on it doesn't even apply. SO....I will be getting a new mascara ASAP.

Cuteness By Cassy
What do you think? A friend of mine wants a pink one so I am going to do some experimenting with pinks and clips. Cute though eh? I went home sick today from work so If I get any energy-not likely I might get crafty....Doubtful. I feel like crap-o-la.

Superstitious? Yep.
I am very superstitious. I bawled the day we signed for our life insurance. I feel like it's a bad omen. Yes, I understand it is necessary but It freaks me out. When Steven walks out the door I say "love you, be careful, have fun." He could be in the truck pulling out of the drive way but I say it every time no matter what. I go with my gut. If I have a bad feeling we do not ignore my gut!
THE GUT GETS THE FINAL SAY EVERY TIME.
So why this sudden blogging of my eccentric behavior...? Because we passed on a 4 day trip this weekend to San Diego due to flying on 9/11. We would have to be on a plane that day. HELLO!!! That is just bad carama! We are rescheduling for October. Sea world will still be awesome in October...right?

Separation Makes You Stronger
I always thought that was a false statement. I thought that if you were apart long enough you would no longer feel for that person. This theory proved correct with ex-boyfriends so I cemented this in my brain as truth. BOY was I wrong!
Steven has been out of town every day for the past 5 days for work. To make matters worse I had to work 5 days straight as well so I missed out on my chance to share a hotel room with him in the evenings. So instead of staying out of town he made the trip back to me every single night. He would kiss me when he came in at midnight and them climb into bed next to me. I then got up and kissed him goodbye on my way to work at 0530. That is a crappy 5 days.
So did I fall out of love? Did I get used to him not being there?
NOPE.
I am completely serious when I say that I cried myself to sleep every night. When we were dating I would sleep at his parents house in my sister-in-laws old bedroom so that I didn't have to leave him at night. So in the past 5+ years we have not slept apart. It broke my heart to go to bed without him next to me.
I get to see my Stevie for more than a goodnight kiss tonight and I am giddy and excited nervous. I missed him so much!
Being apart really did make my love for him stronger. Maybe our love grew stronger or maybe I realized I can't take a single moment with my amazing husband for granted. Being apart made me want to savor every second with him.
So my advice to those of you reading this: Do not take time with your spouse for granted. You never know when that time will end.

Day 3
Maybe I am just having a bad hair day, I don't know. My hair was flat and frizzy today. :(
We'll see how day 4 goes.

Day 2: Flat Flat Flat
So less does less frizz mean you get stuck with flat hair? This is day 2 with my Garnier Blow Dry stff. I think my hair has way less volume than normal but it really is frizz free. Not sure what to think yet. P.S. don't judge my non made up face. It was my day off :(

Big Bedroom Dreams
I want this wall color.
With this bed frame.
And these curtains from Ikea which have been sold out for 2 months. (if you see them pick up two packages and I will pay for them and your gas for that trip-NOT EVEN KIDDING). :)
Any suggestions to make it even more fantastic?

We Bought a Mower and Became More Adult
As if graduating from nursing school, buying a house, and becoming an RN wasn't enough of a leap into adulthood. If someone would have told me 7 years ago that I would be married with a career and an amazing life I would have not believed them. I always pictured myself graduating and living in a apartment with my girlfriends and finally moving out on my own for a while before I settled down. I didn't picture myself being married at 19 at all growing up. =] but I wouldn't change a thing. Being married to Steven has opened up more doors than I could have done for myself. I never would have ever been addicted to four wheeling that is for sure. Being done with school now makes me realize I could never have done it without Steven supporting me and pushing me along. He is my everything and without him none of what I have would be possible.
Crazy deep thoughts. Wow! And it was all because we bought a lawn mower.

She is Almost Ready
My no-name kitty is almost ready. It feels like it is taking forever! She was born March 23rd so she is still really little. She can finally hop into the litter box on her own. I guess it takes a couple attempts at it and even sometimes a running start but she is litter trained! She is eating soft kitten food right now too! When I get her I will be mixing wet kitten food with the hard kitten food and then WHAM! She'll be ready! I can't wait to get her. I was totally crushed when Princess died. I never recovered from it and I doubt I ever will. I think I am still stuck in the denial stage. I still expect her to be at my parents house waiting for me, staring out the front door glaring at me for being gone so long but you could see excitement in her eyes because I was finally home to see her. So even though I have NO one excited for me to get my kitty and no one in the family will ever come over anymore I will finally (hopefully) have that void in my heart filled my new kitty.
Wish me luck!
Wish me luck!

Self Tan Beauty

I started using this self tanner a week ago and I have to tell you it is amazing! Ali told me to use it at night before I go to bed and I wake up to a nice glow. The down side is that I use white towels and you can see the self tanner on the towel after I have shower and wipe off. Other than that so far so good. I'm loving it! I use it on my face every other day instead of every day because I worry about it turning me orange. Do you ladies have any tips for self tanning faces? I was told to just mix some of the tanning stuff into my normal moisturizer. Should I keep doing this or is there a better way?
