House Update
The current owner has signed the papers and now the bank has them. We should hear back by Wednesday. Send happy thoughts please. I'll post Picts as soon as it is official. I don't want to brag about something that isn't mine. (and it is totally worth bragging about).

I have Cat Fever
I really want/need a kitty. My beloved (seriously, don't mock) Princess died a few years ago and it still kills me. She was my bestie. With this house stuff almost done and over with I think I will get myself a kitten as a house warming gift. Steven is not happy but I think he'll give in eventually. Lets just hope I get it box broken quickly or he'll kick me and the kitty out on the street. Okay not me but I really think he'd kick out the cat.
Growing up I always had cats. Lacey, My gma's fat simese cat, would sleep with me at night. She would also guard my door to make sure I was safe from preditors. She was my nanny. Cagney, was Lacey's sister. She only loved my gma. She would put up with me because she had to. I would always try to get her 'break' and love me like Lacey but she was always loyal to my gma and me second. Actually she was more a gpa lover but he worked during the day so until he came home she didn't want anyone but gma. Smokey-Joe was a grey long haired mutt I found living on the corner by our house. I started to feed him so he wouldn't die. I must have tugged at gma's heart strings because he quickly became a member of the family. Cagney and Lacey quickly accepted him as their little brother. A little while later we had two more kittens flock to our back yard. They were brother and sister. We named them Sunny and Sabrina. Gma was against having 5 house cats so we just fed them in the back yard. Sunny warmed up to us quickly but Sabrina had a wild heart and couldn't love us like Sunny. Sabrina finally disappeared and gma felt bad for Sunny because he was alone so we quickly became a 4 cat family. Sunny is the last of the original 4 awesome cats I grew up with.
So If you haven't noticed I really want a cat. Here are some of the cute pictures I found to suppress my urge while I patiently wait...

1. Did you date someone from your high school?
No I dated people at other High Schools. I did always want to date Nelson Diamond. Don't judge! I was young!
2. What kind of car did you drive?
95 Volvo, Red
3. What is your most embarrassing moment in high school?
Wearing a stupid two piece at swim team tryouts freshman year.
4. Were you a party animal?
Hmmmm yes I would say I was.
5.Where you considered a flirt?
I don't know...was I?
6. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir?
Negative.
7. Were you a nerd?
Ha ha nope I don't think I was.
8. Were you on any varsity teams?
Swimming.
9. Did you get suspended/expelled?
No, not in high school but I did in middle school.
10. Can you still sing the fight song?
All I remember is OHS! at the end.
11. Who were your favorite teachers?
I seriously cannot remember any names. Does that mean they didn't leave a lasting impression or does it mean my memory sucks?
12. Where did you sit during lunch?
Usually my house or somewhere other than school. If I stayed at school it was the front steps freshman year and then it was the lunch room with Emily, Jen, Shannon, and Pennie.
13. School Mascot?
Tiger
14. Did you go to homecoming and with who?
I did. But I went to Fremont Highs as well as Weber's.
15. If you could go back and do it again, would you?
Hell no.
16. What do you remember most about graduation?
I remember being so nervous to walk across the stage in my black heels. I made it across without falling. I could hear my parents screaming at the top of their lungs. 5 years later I graduated from college in the same black heels and with my wonderful parents and husband screaming for me!
17. Where did you go senior skip day?
Senior skip day occurred weekly for me.
18. Have you gained weight since then?
yes but I am only 20 pounds away from my old weight. I'll be there soon!
19. Who was your prom date?
Which prom? I went with Kyle, Jeremy, and Kris.
20. Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion?
Probably not. I think reunions are for people who want to show off where they are in life and how cool they still think they are. I don't have time to sit and compare kid stories. Especially since I don't have kids. I keep in touch with those I liked. Blogs and facebook are great ways to do that.
21. Looking back, what advice would you give yourself?
Not to date a douche bag, consume carbs before a party, <--or just don't go to the party and avoid the aftermath, the rainbow socks were never cool and never a good idea. I would tell myself to chew a bigger piece of gum the day I put my gum in Stephanies hair. Wow there are a lot of things I would tell myself. Maybe that would be another good blog post.

The Appraisal Has Been Called In
We just found out that our dream house has an appraisal scheduled for Wednesday! We could be accepted or counter offered as soon as Monday! Which, if this is the case we can be in the house by the end of the month. Please send me happy thoughts! So here are some things I'll be doing to keep me busy:
Working 5 days straight
Grocery shopping for the casa
-cereal
-canned goods
-toilet paper
Pick out a fridge so as soon as we sign we can go get it
Pick paint for the master bed/bath and touch up paint for the living room
CHRISTMAS SHOP
and watch my DVR'd shows. :)
Please send happy thoughts! I feel confident but we still need as many happy thoughts as possible!
