Tuesday Tell All

I haven't posted a fun blog for a while now so I thought this would be fun to do today. This picture is of a few of my fave products right now.

-I love that toothpaste it tastes so good!
-I switched my deodorant to an oil free organic brand. I decided it would be better if I let my lymph nodes in my armpit breathe for a while. It doesn't have a sent but it doesn't make me smell bad so that is good right?
-Aveeno is another lotion I have fallen in love with. It is oil free and It takes away my dry skin without feeling greasy
{I should be a spokeswoman!}
-The Clean and Clear is my make-up remover. It works great and again...it's oil free.
-I wear sunblock every single day even if I am not outside very long. Brooke Shields commercial about sun damage freaks me out so I wear sun block everywhere. It feels so good. I don't have that starchy thick feeling after I put it on and I can put my make-up on over it. :)

This is a picture I took with my iPhone. Can you believe it? It turned out so good! Steven and I have been cooped up lately because school is so demanding but it hasn't been as bad as it sounds. Steven finds ways to entertain me when I get cabin fever. After (almost) 4 years of marriage we are still like newly weds. We have loads of fun and he still gives me butterflies!

Okay so this is proof that nagging your landlord works.

Ignore the hole in the ceiling that is getting fixed tomorrow. Looks way better doesn't it!?!?! Our old nasty gold fan hung from the ceiling by a few wires. When we turned it on it would swing out of control.

Tequila Lime Chicken

* 2/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro
* 2 tablespoons coarse black pepper
* 2 teaspoons garlic powder
* 2 teaspoons onion salt
* 1/2 cup margarita mix
* 1/4 cup lime juice
* 1/4 cup orange juice
* 3 tablespoons tequila
* 3 tablespoons triple sec
* 2 tablespoons honey
* 1 cup light olive oil
* 6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

1. Place cilantro, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in the bowl of a blender. Pour in margarita mix, lime juice, orange juice, tequila, triple sec, and honey. Puree on high speed until smooth, then reduce speed to medium-low, and slowly add the olive oil; blend until creamy. Place chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or glass bowl; pour marinade overtop and toss to coat. Refrigerate for 5 hours.

2. Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil grate.

3. Remove chicken from the marinade, shake off excess, and discard remaining marinade. Grill the chicken until tender and juices run clear, approximately 7 minutes per side.

Nie Dialoges

I had no idea she lived in Provo. Very close to myself. If I ever see her I will probably cry and try to give her a hug like some crazy woman. She is so inspiring and the love she has for her wonderful hubby is just like the love I have for mine.

She is amazing. I hope I can meet her before we move away.

Cabin Time

Mr. Rad and I are on our way to our friends cabin today. It is up at Sundance and I can't wait to have some girl time with Stacie. I bought her kids squirt guns to occupy them (and spoil them). We had so much fun with them in Vegas so this should be just as awesome!

Go ahead and be jealous! I will take pictures to brag about the fun times. We are also going to Park City for a few hours Saturday. :)

Grilled Asparagus

1- go buys some asparagus (our local farmers market has had awesome asparagus)
2- rinse it off and snap it.
3- lay asparagus on a sheet of tin foil and cover with olive oil.
4- sprinkle with Grill Mate of your choice or salt, cracked pepper, and garlic powder.
5- there are many options for cooking. a. put asparagus (on tin foil) on a cookie sheet in the oven. b. put skewers through garlic and put on bbq (so they don't fall through the cracks) c. put asparagus (on tin foil) in the bbq
6- cook them till they are to your consistency of choice (Mr. Rad hates mushy asparagus so I don't cook it very long)
7- enjoy!

Here is a picture of what it should look like:

I had to steal this pict from Google because I have never taken a picture of my asparagus.

I'm The Coolest

According to my awesome nephew Jackson 'Cassy is the coolest'. I am cooler than Mr. Rad, Grandma Con, and anyone else that attempts to battle my coolness. Jackson plays soccer and Mr. Rad and I went to one of his games. He TOTALLY gets the game too, it is so cool. I love this guy and I am so proud of him. I can't wait to see him play again this Saturday.

Memorial Day 2009

Mr. Rad went to Gunnies and they were having a killer deal on AR 15's (very hard to come buy since our BFF Obama became Pres). So he buys it because we have been hunting for one for a few months now. We decide to go to Richfield (where the whole fam gathered for Memorial Day) totally last minute so we could go shoot and see the fam. It was our niece's birthday as well so we went to celebrate with her as well. To make a long story short we shot lots of guns, hung out with our 2 of our nephews and the birthday girl (who I let drive my car and taught her how to back into a parking space!). We had a blast!!!

This is a video of Bubba (blake) popping the top off a water bottle. We did this for over an hour. It was a blast.
