I have a secret blog. . . It's called Poppy Seed Muffin Top. I started it as a diary of my weight loss adventure. It is completely vulnerable and raw. I love it. I keep it a secret for that reason. I'm not sure if I want others to read about my biggest fears and insecurities. Not only that but I posted my weight!!! Yikes! I hate scales but I had to do it so I could gauge my improvement.
What would you do? Would you post it for help and support or would you be afraid it would be read by others and mocked by those you know???

I don't know what I would do! I suck at blogging anyway :) I have a friend that blogs about her weight loss journey too! Maybe you could look at it and decide! fitwithasideofcheesecake.blogspot.com.
That is a hard one. I would love to have the support. But I could have a hard time with everyone see all of my personal info especially my weight! I also have had some really mean things said about my family blog. So just be careful and if you do open it up, have a thick skin!
Hil: I'll check it out. I'm not sure if I want to post it publicly just yet. Maybe I'll wait till there has been some success. I'll check her blog. Thanks!
Melissa: I can't believe people say mean things on a family blog. That is stupid. I'll definitely have to grow a thicker skin before it goes public.
My overall thoughts are to post it at the end for sure. I'm just not sure if I can post it yet. I really want to post it at the end of my 40lb reduction.
That is pretty awesome that you have been keeping track! I'm impressed! My new years resolution - as it always is - is to drop 30 next year! You'll have to give me some advice!
I have one too. I don't let anyone read it. I post pictures of me in my underwear, so it will forever remain private. But I totally love having it for myself. It's fun to see the progress I've made and look at the pictures on there.
Erin I have pictures I need to post on there of me too before it's too late and I can't really see the difference.
Does it help motivate you? How long have you done it?
Oh ya it's way good motivation for me. I've been using it for about 5 months. I've lost 46 lbs!! I totally lay out all my feelings. Like why I hate being fat and my frustrations. Then when I want to eat a piece of cheesecake or not work out, it's so nice to look back and read why I am doing it. Great motivation! I say keep doing it sister!!
Holy 46 lbs!! That is awesome! Keep it up girly! I hope I do that well.
