What Should I Do Here?

This is the area right next to my front door. What should I do with it. I am not a huge fan of the red rock. There is way too much of it. Yes that is a water feature. I don't know if it works at all but it will be interesting to see if it does this summer. This is an all shade area. We are north facing so it is all way shaded plus it is in a 'nook'. So what do you think? Any good ideas for shade loving plants? Garden gnomes?

I'm Ready For Warmth

I miss the sun, green grass, leafy tree's, and flowers. Summer please hurry. I miss you.

Cassy in the Raw

This is me in the morning.

No make-up (except the leftover mascara and eyeliner that didn't get washed off all the way), no perfume, dry elbows (can't see them but they are there), scrappy looking eyebrows, prickly underarms (again just take my word for it), greasy t-zone, bad breath (I brush, I promise), blemishes, grumpy disposition (I am not a morning person), random clothes that should be in the laundry bin...This is me in the morning and I am okay with it!



I pin back my bangs because they stick straight up, out, and sometimes are plastered to my face. Too bad I wasn't sporting my headband. Oh boy that is a sight to see!

Bedtime Plans

I have big plans for our new big bed. This is our FREE king sized bed that we just added to our casa. Awesome right? I love it! It is so much more comfortable than our old bed. Our bodies are thank us every morning for the new bed.

Things I still need:
-a black bedskirt
-more pillows
-funky fabric
-A headboard

I am going to make the pillows and maybe a duvet cover. I have some fabric for pillows but it doesn't hurt to go get more and get creative with it.


Do you have any suggestions for our bedroom?

New Bed- Continued

We pick up the bed tomorrow morning. We are trying find a cheap box spring and frame since the one it comes with will take a while to get 'Cassy Chic'. I bought sheets for the bed yesterday and now I just need to make a quick trip to Target and get a comforter. I am so excited to sleep on a bed that doesn't suck. :)

For Valentines Day a few of my girl friends from work decided to get each other gifts. I thought it would be fun to get them something to spice up their Valentines Day. So it may appear innocent from the outside but it's anything but innocent. :)
