I have posted about this site a few times in the past but I can't help but post a few that I enjoyed today.
This makes me laugh because I was looking at an xray the other day and saw this. I wanted to say something but I resisted.
This made me sad for whoever this is. What makes me sadder is that schools are cutting down the nurses they have. One nurse per district or one nurse per 7 schools is ridiculous. One nurse cannot be there for all of the kids that may need them. I hope this changes but unfortunately it wont.

The Mystery of My Shopping Trolly
Have you ever found yourself staring in someone’s cart as you pass them in the grocery store? Or do you try and sneak a peak while in the check out isle? Sometimes I see things in other carts and it reminds me of something I needed to get as well. Then there are times that I look into their cart and I have to fight back disgust because they bought pigs feet or cows tongue. They might be super high maintenance and I see that they have every cosmetic product under the sun. And then there are the ones that have condoms and other random objects. The condom shoppers are those using the arm cart thing. The funniest was when I saw condoms, whip cream, and a oil filter. At least he had his priorities straight right?
Well if you are curious and snoopy like me and have wanted to know what I buy when I grocery shop, today is your lucky day!!! I went to Smiths yesterday and this is what I bought….
Tortilla chips
Salsa
Salad
California Poppy Seeds (to plant in a pot outside [hopefully soon])
Orbit Gum
Garbanzo Beans
Light Caesar Salad Dressing
Light Raspberry Salad Dressing (YUM!)
This was a little trip. Next time I go and stock up on everything I’ll give you guys some insight to what I buy. I think you can tell a lot about a person by what is in their cart. So I challenge you to post what you bought last time you went out. Even if it was gas and a Diet Coke.
Have fun! Leave me a message and let me know if you do this so I can come snoop in your cart! ☺
p.s. Have I mentioned I hate not having a garbage disposal?

Trying on something new
Have you ever couple dated? If you go out with new couples with your spouse then you definitely have couple dated. Last night we ventured out on a couples date. It was with Steven's friend from high school Stacie and her hubs. It was the most fun we have had out with another couple in a long time. (D-bo and Tawnasty...YOU HAVE COMPETITION)
It was a blast. Steven got along with Brandon and Stacie and so did I. It is so hard to find a couple that we both enjoy hanging out with. A couple where both people are fun. Have you ever had a one person cool couple? That is when only one person is fun and the other is a total dud which in turn makes either you or your spouse a dud as well because you don't have someone to talk to. Need a better example? Say your hubby and the other hubby can hand really well but you and the other wife have NOTHING in common. When you go home and ask your spouse if you had a good time you say eh she was kinda lame...Well guess what they are saying in their car on the way home....? SAME THING! So then you get labeled THE LAME ONE. Couple dating is hard work. Thankfully we have a handful of really great friends we mingle well with. Stacie and Brandon....welcome to the club!
So here is what went down....I got my hair done! Stacie rocks! I love it. Then off to din din and then we hung out with cards and really awesome ice cream. YUM! We didn't get home till around 2. Who knew we could even stay out that late....
Have you had a terrible or fantastic couple date?

FACE LIFT
I was thinking it might be a good idea to start a firming and wrinkle cream. I am a total sucker for advertising so I have been reading up on Garnier facial products. I really like their hair care and I really like Sara Jessica Parker. I think she is beautiful. So I did the test to see what products I should use and this is what it told me. . .
Anti-Wrinkle Dual Eye Cream
Ultra Lift pro with SPF 20
Have you ever used these products? Do you have a fave product you would like to recommend? Let me know so I can make and educated guess!!!

St. George Trip Revisited
So I didn't take any pictures. I slacked. I guess I was having way too much fun. I did get a few pictures of Jack playing basketball.
We went to Mesquite and had a blast. This was the first trip that we didn't win. But guess what...? We still had tons of fun. Sunday on our way home Steven took me to my fave fast food place, Jack In The Box. He also took me shopping! Ahhhh what a good man.
p.s. We have a new house plant! His name is 'Wee Tree'. He is so cute and tree like. I'll show pictures of him soon and his new home. (Steven bought me a awesome pot and pot stand, pictures soon)

Craft Time
My friend Stephanie and I are going to have a craft night in the near future with her 8 year old daughter Brooke. These are some crafts I want to try out.
Fun and retro eh?
I want mine to be Moss Green
With a broken Teracotta roof.
This is a garden stepping stone I want to try. I want ours to have our initials mosiac-ed in to add a personal flair.
Do you have any other craft ideas you want to share? They can be inside crafts or outside. I'm not picky!!!

Here are my new fave clothing items!!!
Shadeclothing.com had a free shipping day and I took advantage! I love shade!
Ohhhh I almost forgot! Costco has the 2 pack thermal tops for $9.99. I bought the purple and beige pack. If your going to buy them make sure you get a size smaller than normal because they are huge!

Chicken Marsala
I will be cooking this delicious dish for dinner tomorrow night. Here is the recipe if you are interested.
* 1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon butter, divided
* 2/3 cup sliced fresh baby bella mushrooms
* 1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour
* 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
* 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
* 1/8 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 pound skinless, boneless chicken meat - cut into 12 pieces
* 2/3 slice bacon, diced
* 1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon cold water
* 1/4 teaspoon cornstarch
* 2 tablespoons and 2 teaspoons dry Marsala wine
1. Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a medium skillet. Saute mushrooms until soft, remove from skillet and place in a small, covered bowl.
2. Mix flour, garlic powder, salt and pepper in a shallow dish or bowl. Dredge chicken in flour mixture. Place bacon in same skillet and cook over low heat until cooked but not crisp. Add 2 tablespoons butter to skillet and saute coated chicken over medium heat for 2 minutes each side, adding remaining butter as needed to prevent burning.
3. Place chicken on a dish, cover and keep warm. In a medium bowl, slowly add water to cornstarch and mix together, then mix in wine. Pour liquid mixture into skillet, together with reserved mushrooms. Heat until mixture begins to boil and thickens, then pour over warm chicken and serve.

1911 Original
Since High School I have been searching for a decent original copy of Peter Pan. Well after many email waiting lists, SLC book store hunts, and unsuccessful eBay auctions I finally bought my copy. I found it on eBay....I WON! I actually cried! Here she is in all her beauty. I'll post again more detailed pictures when it arrives.
Isn't she beautiful?
