Goodbye Blog World
Due to finals week I am going to ignore the blog. Sorry but my future career is way more important than the silly crafts I have been doing and pictures of lama's. Wish me luck!
It is scary to think that my future could literally turn south with a click of the wrong answer.
See you in about a week.
P.S. we are going to Vegas with the 2 coolest people I know. I'm so lucky to have such a cool BFF. CIRCUS CIRCUS here we come!

Spring Time
April 17, 2009 - Does anyone else hate these stupid weeds?
April 18, 2009 - The friendly neighborhood lama. There is a whole field of lama's by my house. Totally random but I always say hi to them when I pass bye.
April 19, 2009 - Beautiful spring blossoms. I love this warm weather don't you?

My Challenge Just Got More Challenging.
I am going to try and do nothing but portraits of people starting Monday for my 365 day challenge. I am going to do it for the whole week. It should be kinda fun. Let me know if you want to be one of my portraits. It would be nice to have some volunteers. :)

Welcome Sign
I have been having too much fun with my crafting lately. I had my sister-in-law make me a few signs for the front door on her Cricut. I think I might save up and get one. I could have a lot of fun with some girlfriends If I had one. We could have a crazy craft night and make some pretty awesome stuff.
This is how my craft started:
Yellow and white polka dot wrapping paper, purple wrapping paper, a picture frame and a few awesome vinyl sayings.
This is how it came out:
Cute huh? I can't wait to get the others made. Next I'll put together Summer. I have some fun plans for that one. I can't wait!!! I'll keep you posted.
Do you think I could sell these? Maybe at the Farmers Market? Online? Who knows....Would you buy one? How much do you think it reasonable?
Would you come over and craft with me if I invited you and had my own Cricut?

Tuesday Tell All
Do you have a guilty pleasure? We do....
You can multiply this by 2. We went on Saturday to Macey's because they were having a killer deal and then I went again today. YUM! We are all stocked up for Summer.
What is your guilty pleasure?

See Craft Time blog.
April 10, 2009
This is how my mailbox looks most days of the week. If I have outgoing mail the mail man will stop and then my mail box is overloaded. He only stops once a week when I have a package or outgoing mail. I used to sit out and wait for him so he knew I was watching him and he would just pass bye. I have complained but it didn't do any good. 1-Provo post office is full of lazy rude people and 2- it is a government regulated business of course they won't/can't help you. If you have any ideas let me know.
April 11, 2009
These are my pots I bought. I wanted to show you the cuteness of the whole dish. I know they look awesome on the stove but I wanted to show off the super cute bottom. This is the link to them cooking bacon when I first got them.
April 12, 2009
This is my next craft project. No worries I will make sure to post finished pictures. :)
So what do you think? Have you challenged yourself to the 365 day challenge? If you do let me know. I would love to see what you come up with everyday. Have a happy Monday. I'll see you all tomorrow with my Tuesday Tell All post :)

Tuesday Tell All
Have you ever lost someone you loved? I have. A few times. I'm not going to talk about the one that hurt the most because that is none of your business but I will talk about the one I feel most guilty about.
Steven and I went on a four wheeling trip when we were dating. We were down in St. George right after all the huge floods. I worked at a a long term care facility and I had a patient I absolutely loved. She knew every single detail about Steven and I. She knew I wanted to marry him and she knew about our trip. She was certain I would get engaged that weekend. Turns out she was right. While I was gone having fun with Steven and our friends getting engaged she passed away. She was coming down with a cold that turned into pneumonia and she was too weak to fight. I was totally heart broken. I came back from my trip and went to work early that day to show her my ring and give her the jar of sand I hijacked from the sand dunes. I promised her I would get her pink/red sand. Her room was empty. Her things were gone and so was she. I bawled for days. I went to her funeral which there were only a handful of people. She was such an amazing person and she died alone. The other people were there out of obligation not love. I was there because I loved her. She was amazing. Before they closed the casket I put my small jar of sand in her casket. Some would say that was crossing the line but I know she would have wanted her jar of sand. I feel terrible still that she did not get to see the sand, my ring, or me before she died. I would like to think she was there with me the day I married Steven. I would like to think she knows how much I still miss her. I will forever feel guilty I wasn't there with her when she left this world.

I Owe You Pictures
What better way to avoid my Monday studying. . .
So here you go!
March 27, 2009 - you may remember this tree from a few posts back. It is the same tree just 24 hours after our snow storm. Crazy Utah weather...
March 28, 2009 - We went to Ogden to pick up my big metal desk because my parents sold their house. On our way to the freeway we saw this. A midget on a trike. WTF?
March 29, 2009 - This is a picture of the two cutest kids. They are my friend Stacie's. They crack me up. 'A' smiles just like her mom and 'E' looks just like his dad. Too funny.
March 30, 2009 - We pretty much had a hurricane come through Provo and it ripped apart my flowers on the porch. This is all that is left of them. I'm not too worried because there are a couple buds and I will be going to Home Depot for a few new ones to add to my pot and a few others I have in the back yard.
March 31, 2009 - I salvaged this from my pot after the hurricane. It was the prettiest flower from my pot too.
April 1, 2009 - These are my finished garden labels. I think I did a pretty good job.
April 2, 2009 - This is what my coffee table looks like all the time.
April 3, 2009 - I think she is perfect in every way. She is gorgeous. I love the way she flirts with her unkie (my Mr. R).
April 4, 2009 - This is a preview of my new pots. SO SO SO cute. I love having non-stick pans again. Aren't they super cute??
April 5, 2009 - My parents came into town to sign their house away to the happy couple that bought it. We met them at the Gateway, ate Thiaphoon, and watched my little brother dodge the water.
April 6, 2009 - My cute door thing. What do you think?
So that was a long list of pictures. I'll try and be better about posting them sooner. What have you been up to lately?

Tax Time
Tax time is stressful, exciting, and mysterious. Mr. R and I never know what we are going to end up with at this time of the year. The first year we were married we had to pay. If you have ever had to pay taxes when everyone else is getting HUGE returns you know how crappy it feels to dish out MORE money. So this year (and last) we got a return. I almost pee'd my pants when I saw that the numbers were not in red on our tax summary sheet. So what are we going to do with our return?
1- Savings (most of it)
2- Pay off the car (so excited!)
3- 20g shotgun (it is soooo sexy)
4- Paula Deen pots and pans!
Want to see?
I can't wait to have non-stick pans again. I have copper pans, silver pans (thanks mom but I need a few non-stick items)
What are you doing with your return? Did you have to pay? Do you have a horrific tax story you want to share?
