Cleaning day is the day that comes before moving day.

We are at our house cleaning today so we can move our belongings in tomorrow. (thanks friends who are helping, and shame on you to those who are not, JK). This is us in our final walk through when we received our copy of the key. Exciting right?

I love this picture because it is SO Steven. He always does this look, the neck angle is all that changes from time to time. He's a fun dude. I heart him. I think this might be the Christmas card. It was done with the iPhone so it's not the greatest quality but it is SO us.

Generic

Has anyone tried the generic version of Orth Tri Cycline Lo? Just curious because I switched to save $$$ and I have had bad migraines(more often and mote severe than normal). I can't even function!

Christmas!

I just got done wrapping some awesome Christmas presents. I love Christmas. Steven and I go all out every year and spoil each other rotten. I love it. I really spoiled him this year! I can't wait to see his face on Christmas morning.

Our Casa

Is no longer listed on the internet and they are no longer showing it! The inspection went perfectly! It is totally move in ready! As soon as it is more final I will post pictures. I just don't want to jinx us.

Writing the earnest check tonight so the bank can cash it tomorrow. YAY!

House Update

The current owner has signed the papers and now the bank has them. We should hear back by Wednesday. Send happy thoughts please. I'll post Picts as soon as it is official. I don't want to brag about something that isn't mine. (and it is totally worth bragging about).

I have Cat Fever

I really want/need a kitty. My beloved (seriously, don't mock) Princess died a few years ago and it still kills me. She was my bestie. With this house stuff almost done and over with I think I will get myself a kitten as a house warming gift. Steven is not happy but I think he'll give in eventually. Lets just hope I get it box broken quickly or he'll kick me and the kitty out on the street. Okay not me but I really think he'd kick out the cat.

Growing up I always had cats. Lacey, My gma's fat simese cat, would sleep with me at night. She would also guard my door to make sure I was safe from preditors. She was my nanny. Cagney, was Lacey's sister. She only loved my gma. She would put up with me because she had to. I would always try to get her 'break' and love me like Lacey but she was always loyal to my gma and me second. Actually she was more a gpa lover but he worked during the day so until he came home she didn't want anyone but gma. Smokey-Joe was a grey long haired mutt I found living on the corner by our house. I started to feed him so he wouldn't die. I must have tugged at gma's heart strings because he quickly became a member of the family. Cagney and Lacey quickly accepted him as their little brother. A little while later we had two more kittens flock to our back yard. They were brother and sister. We named them Sunny and Sabrina. Gma was against having 5 house cats so we just fed them in the back yard. Sunny warmed up to us quickly but Sabrina had a wild heart and couldn't love us like Sunny. Sabrina finally disappeared and gma felt bad for Sunny because he was alone so we quickly became a 4 cat family. Sunny is the last of the original 4 awesome cats I grew up with.

I am thankful for this wonderful little girl. She is amazing. I love when she tells me I look 'pity' or that she thinks steven is 'stinky'.
