I change my blog background all the time (as you have probably already noticed). I love this purple. I bought pretty deep purple flowers for my back yard and fell in love with them, so when I saw this background I had to snag it.
I am attending my first preceptor clinical tomorrow from 6-12 and Saturday from 6-6. I am so excited. Should I bring her a thank you gift or should I do that at my last preceptor with her? Nurses are super slammed and taking on extra patients because of the RN shortage and the economy and then taking on a student is a huge responsibility. I feel like I should do something to show her I appreciate her help and willingness to take me on. Let me know if you have any good ideas. Brit and I were thinking breakfast or lunch one day after I get to know her and what she likes would be nice. I think I want to do something better than food.
I'll let you know how my first shift as an ALMOST RN goes. :)

I have a ton more recipes if you want them. I love to cook! I ended up on 4th floor. :( Not what I wanted at all but oh well.

It went pretty well. She isn't my kind of person at all. She isn't very personable. Kinda boring but nice. One of my pts asked if I thought she was crabby. She kinda was. Oh well.
