FACE LIFT

I was thinking it might be a good idea to start a firming and wrinkle cream. I am a total sucker for advertising so I have been reading up on Garnier facial products. I really like their hair care and I really like Sara Jessica Parker. I think she is beautiful. So I did the test to see what products I should use and this is what it told me. . .

Anti-Wrinkle Dual Eye Cream

Ultra Lift pro with SPF 20

Have you ever used these products? Do you have a fave product you would like to recommend? Let me know so I can make and educated guess!!!

St. George Trip Revisited

So I didn't take any pictures. I slacked. I guess I was having way too much fun. I did get a few pictures of Jack playing basketball.

We went to Mesquite and had a blast. This was the first trip that we didn't win. But guess what...? We still had tons of fun. Sunday on our way home Steven took me to my fave fast food place, Jack In The Box. He also took me shopping! Ahhhh what a good man.

p.s. We have a new house plant! His name is 'Wee Tree'. He is so cute and tree like. I'll show pictures of him soon and his new home. (Steven bought me a awesome pot and pot stand, pictures soon)

St. George Trip

I have lots of details but I am exhausted. I'll post pictures too. There are only a few because I forgot I had it when we went to Mesquite. Sorry :(....

I hope you all had a romantic Valentines Day.

XOXOXOXO

Craft Time

My friend Stephanie and I are going to have a craft night in the near future with her 8 year old daughter Brooke. These are some crafts I want to try out.

Fun and retro eh?

I want mine to be Moss Green

With a broken Teracotta roof.

This is a garden stepping stone I want to try. I want ours to have our initials mosiac-ed in to add a personal flair.

Do you have any other craft ideas you want to share? They can be inside crafts or outside. I'm not picky!!!

Chicken Marsala

I will be cooking this delicious dish for dinner tomorrow night. Here is the recipe if you are interested.

* 1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon butter, divided
* 2/3 cup sliced fresh baby bella mushrooms
* 1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour
* 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
* 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
* 1/8 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 pound skinless, boneless chicken meat - cut into 12 pieces
* 2/3 slice bacon, diced
* 1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon cold water
* 1/4 teaspoon cornstarch
* 2 tablespoons and 2 teaspoons dry Marsala wine

1. Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a medium skillet. Saute mushrooms until soft, remove from skillet and place in a small, covered bowl.

2. Mix flour, garlic powder, salt and pepper in a shallow dish or bowl. Dredge chicken in flour mixture. Place bacon in same skillet and cook over low heat until cooked but not crisp. Add 2 tablespoons butter to skillet and saute coated chicken over medium heat for 2 minutes each side, adding remaining butter as needed to prevent burning.

3. Place chicken on a dish, cover and keep warm. In a medium bowl, slowly add water to cornstarch and mix together, then mix in wine. Pour liquid mixture into skillet, together with reserved mushrooms. Heat until mixture begins to boil and thickens, then pour over warm chicken and serve.

2 Years

Two years later and I still miss you everyday.

1911 Original

Since High School I have been searching for a decent original copy of Peter Pan. Well after many email waiting lists, SLC book store hunts, and unsuccessful eBay auctions I finally bought my copy. I found it on eBay....I WON! I actually cried! Here she is in all her beauty. I'll post again more detailed pictures when it arrives.

Isn't she beautiful?
